A wide expanse of flowers in many colors spreads across the land—an overwhelming sight. And yet, when you look closely at each individual flower, you notice how delicate they truly are. Their stems and leaves are slender and soft, and the petals carry faint, subtle lines—inviting careful observation. Though they appear simple and charming, this piece was created through repeated sketching and close study. Not only can it be used as a chopstick rest, but it also works perfectly as a rest for spoons, forks, or knives. It can even be used as a small paperweight to hold down light paper or fabric.
